Recall on FLUSHMATE III Series 503

April 10, 2014

Haller Enterprises would like to inform its customers of a recent safety recall that pertains to all power flush toilets. FLUSHMATE is announcing a voluntary recall of its pressure vessel FLUSHMATE III Series 503 to include units manufactured from October 14, 1997 to June 30, 2009.

The power vessel is the black item found inside the tank of all power flush toilets. Simply lift the lid off your toilet and check the Model and Serial number which is found at the far left of the power vessel. Please follow the following instructions:

1. Contact FLUSHMATE to verify whether your unit is included within the recall. Visit http://recall.flushmate.com or call (800) 303-5123.

2. When you receive the repair kit contact Haller's Service Department

The affected FLUSHMATE III 503 units can burst at or near the vessel weld seam releasing stored pressure. This pressure can lift the tank lid and shatter the tank, posing impact or laceration hazards to consumers or property damage.

Haller Enterprises, Inc. Receives Award for Performance in HVAC Energy Efficiency Program

Lititz, PA- Haller Enterprises, Inc. has been recognized as one of the 2012 Top Performing Contractors in the HVAC Program from Met-Ed, Penelec, and Penn Power (FirstEnergy's utilities). Haller Enterprises was a top performer in total installations in the Met-Ed service area.

The HVAC Program offers Pennsylvania residential customers of FirstEnergy's utilities rebates on tune ups of existing HVAC systems or on the installation of new high-efficiency systems. As an independent contractor, Haller Enterprises educates customers on the energy and cost-saving benefits of this program.

Haller Enterprises is one of six contractors chosen based on total systems installed in 2012. The program granted more than 25,650 rebates and these contractors helped FirstEnergy's utility customers reduce their energy usage by 19,573 megawatt-hours.

"We take pride in this award," said John Michel, president. "It's a testament to our hard work and level of customer satisfaction that we were able to receive this honor."

The HVAC Program from FirstEnergy's utilities is open to all licensed HVAC contractors who operate in the state of Pennsylvania and meet all program requirements. Residential customers can receive rebates of up to $400 for installing high-efficiency HVAC systems and up to $75 to tune up an existing system. This program will expire May 31, 2013.

Haller Enterprises Announces New Branch Location in Exton, Chester County

Lititz, PA- Haller Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch location at 263 S. Whitford Road in Exton PA.

Services provided from the Exton location will include residential and commercial installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing, heating & cooling, electrical and water conditioning systems. Local technicians will be dispatched directly from the Exton location to serve Chester, Montgomery and Delaware Counties.

Serving home and business owners since 1981, Haller Enterprises provides a full range of plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, water conditioning and home automation services for residential and commercial customers throughout the Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania regions. Haller's highly trained technicians are knowledgeable, experienced and local to the branches from which they serve.

Although serving the Chester County area for several years, this will be Haller's first branch facility in the area. "Our growing service customer base in the Chester, Montgomery and Delaware County area make this a logical move for Haller Enterprises", states Rick Haller, Owner. "This centralized location and local staff will give us the opportunity to provide the superior service that is our standard to Chester County and the surrounding area." The Exton location is Haller's fifth branch, joining Central PA offices in Lititz, Mechanicsburg, Palmyra and York. An April 2013 opening is planned.

Haller Enterprises Announces Promotion And New Hires

Lititz, PA - Haller Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Edward McFarlane and the addition of Brian Suchy and Mark Jahnigen.

Christopher Boyd

Edward McFarlane takes on the role of Vice President of Sales and Training. Throughout his six year tenure with Haller, he has been responsible for the initial development and management of Haller’s residential sales process and has played an active role in the development and facilitation of training programs for sales staff, service, and installation technicians. Most recently, Edward served as General Manager, Commercial Services Group.

McFarlane’s new role will oversee sales for Residential replacements and the Commercial Services Group. Training will continue to be a major focus of Edward’s role throughout the services division. McFarlane lives in Lititz with his wife, Wanda, and their two children.

Eddie Wise

Mark Jahnigen was recently hired as a Home Automation Specialist. He will work with new construction and residential projects to determine the best Home Automation solution for business and home needs. Jahnigen brings six years of experience in the custom audio/video industry and was most recently the owner of Wired Home Automation Services. Haller Enterprises purchased the assets of Wired Home Automation Services on April 25, 2012. Jahnigen resides in Manheim with his wife, Jenna, and their two children.

Tracy Figueroa

Brian Suchy was recently hired as a Commercial Services Specialist. Suchy’s focus will be to help businesses in the Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, and Harrisburg areas develop equipment maintenance programs and replacement strategies that will maximize their energy efficiency and savings. Suchy has been in the HVAC industry for 20 years, most recently serving as service and operations manager. Suchy resides in Enola.

Christopher Boyd

Christopher Boyd was recently hired by Haller Enterprises, Inc. as a Commercial Services Specialist. Boyd’s focus will be to help businesses in the Chester County, Reading, and southern Lancaster areas develop equipment maintenance programs and replacement strategies that will maximize their energy efficiency and savings. Boyd previously served as regional account executive at Clearwire. Boyd resides in East Hempfield with his wife Kristi and their two daughters.

Eric Kinsey

Eric Kinsey was recently named Plumbing Service Manager of Haller Enterprises, Inc. Kinsey has been with Haller for the past fourteen years. He previously served as service technician and team leader. Kinsey has 32 years of experience in the plumbing industry and is a Certified Master Plumber. He resides in Leola with his wife, Mary Ann. Kinsey has two daughters, two sons, and ten grandchildren.

Eddie Wise

Eddie Wise was recently named Comfort Consultant at Haller Enterprises, Inc., with a focus on residential HVAC sales in the Lebanon and Dauphin County areas. Wise has been with Haller for seven years and previously served as a service technician. He has an Associate’s Degree in HVAC. Wise resides in Jonestown with his wife, Anna.

Tracy Figueroa

Tracy Figueroa was recently named Sales and Project Coordination Supervisor at Haller Enterprises, Inc. She will oversee sales and project coordination for Haller’s Retrofit department and will focus on increased customer satisfaction levels. Figueroa has seven years of experience at Haller and previously served as sales coordinator. Figueroa resides in Lancaster with her husband, Steven.

Haller Enterprises’ Matt Woodcraft Places Second In National Plumbing Competition

Lititz, PA - Matt Woodcraft placed second in plumbing in Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) National Craft Championships held April 24-27, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. The intense two day national competition consisted of a written exam on trade knowledge and a practical performance test based on commercial plumbing skills.

Woodcraft graduated from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) and has been employed at Haller Enterprises since 2008. He began his career as a plumbing apprentice and currently serves as a lead plumbing installer. Woodcraft resides in Newmanstown, PA.

Haller Enterprises Announces Home Automation Division

Lititz, PA - Haller Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Jahnigen to their team. Mark brings six years of experience in custom audio/video industry and was the owner of Wired Home Automation Services, Central PA’s leading home automation company. Haller Enterprises purchased the assets of Wired Home Automation Services on April 25, 2012 and is excited to introduce this service line to Haller’s customers.

Haller Enterprises’ Home Automation Division services will be available to Haller customers and everyone in the Haller Enterprises territory of Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Home Automation is a natural fit for Haller Enterprises, who has been providing area residents and businesses with plumbing, HVAC and electrical services since 1981.

Daryl Brown

Daryl Brown was recently named branch manager of Haller Enterprises, Inc., York. Brown has been with Haller for the past six years. His previous positions include building service representative in Haller's Commercial Services Group and residential HVAC comfort consultant. Brown's past experience includes sales and business management. Brown holds a Business Management degree from Lock Haven University. He resides in Manheim.

Kenny Rogers

Kenny Rogers was recently named branch manager of Haller Enterprises, Inc., Palmyra. Rogers has been with Haller for thirteen years. He previously served as HVAC installer and HVAC install manager. Most recently, Rogers served three years as the branch manager in Haller's York location. Rogers resides in Akron with his wife, Tammy, and children, Ashley and Austin.

Drew Fitzkee

Drew Fitzkee was recently named branch manager of Haller Enterprises, Inc., Mechanicsburg. Fitzkee has twenty years of experience and knowledge in the field of HVAC. His past experience at Haller includes the service and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and solar equipment. Drew previously held the position of branch manager. Fitzkee resides in Denver.

Todd Postlethwait

Postlethwait Earns New Certification

Lititz, Pa—Todd Postlethwait of Haller Enterprises recently received his Certified Energy Manager certification through The Association of Energy Engineers. The designation of CEM® recognizes individuals who have demonstrated high levels of experience, competence, proficiency and ethical fitness in the energy management profession.

Postlethwait earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical Concentration from Drexel University. He also has Professional Engineering Licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.

Postlethwait resides in Lancaster with his wife Laura and their three children.

Thirty years ago, Rick Haller started out as a "one-man show" that provided electrical services in Lancaster County. "I was everything," he said. "I did the work, the marketing, the billing."

Today, Haller is still the CEO, but he oversees 285 employees and expected gross revenue of nearly $50 million for fiscal year 2011. The company celebrates its 30th anniversary in May, with four locations in Harrisburg, Lancaster, York and Lebanon. Haller started out by providing electrical installations for new construction but quickly expanded to include plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical and water conditioning, adding staff and learning new skills along the way.

Lancaster, PA, John Michel has been promoted to president of Haller Enterprises, Inc. Michel joined Haller Enterprises in 2006 and most recently served as vice president, service & retrofit division. Prior to joining Haller Enterprises, Michel served as Pennsylvania general manager of Petroleum Heat & Power. He is a graduate of Penn State University.

Coleman Oster places 1st in Associated Builders and Contractors' National Craft Championships in Plumbing.

Coleman Oster placed first in plumbing in Associated Builders and Contractors' (ABC) National Craft Championships held February 3-7, 2010 in San Diego, California. Mr. Oster qualified for the national competition by placing first at the local level in September 2009. The intense two day national competition consisted of a written exam on trade knowledge and a practical performance test. Mr. Oster began working for Haller Enterprises through the co-op program at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) in 2006 and has been employed at Haller Enterprises full-time in the Residential New Construction Plumbing Division since 2007. He is enrolled in the ABC Apprenticeship Program and will graduate in May 2010.

The Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation inducts Haller Enterprises' Blake Martin into the Hall of Fame 2009.

Blake Martin was inducted into the Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation's Hall of Fame. An alumnus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC), Master Plumber Blake Martin was recognized for his contributions as head of the LCCTC Plumbing Advisory Committee for ten years and many years of mentoring students through skills testing, mock interviewing and discussions on the profession. Mr. Martin has been an employee of Haller Enterprises for 17 years. Haller Enterprises typically hires several Lancaster County Career & Technology Center students each year and provides internships when possible. With locations in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York and Lebanon, Haller Enterprises, Inc. provides a full range of plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical, and water conditioning services for residential, commercial, new construction and remodeling projects throughout Central PA.

Haller has been serving the York area for over 15 years, and the new location will increase efficiencies and convenience to the York community.
