Postlethwait Earns New Certification

Lititz, Pa—Todd Postlethwait of Haller Enterprises recently received his Certified Energy Manager certification through The Association of Energy Engineers. The designation of CEM® recognizes individuals who have demonstrated high levels of experience, competence, proficiency and ethical fitness in the energy management profession.
Postlethwait earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical Concentration from Drexel University. He also has Professional Engineering Licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
Postlethwait resides in Lancaster with his wife Laura and their three children.

Haller Announces New Additions To Staff

Mike Snyder has been named branch manager of Haller Enterprises, Inc.'s Palmyra location.
Snyder brings 22 years of HVAC experience to Haller. Before working in the HVAC field, Snyder served his country in the US Navy from 1980-88, and was stationed overseas in Italy for five years. Following active duty, Snyder joined the US Naval Reserves, while beginning his work in the HVAC industry. During his time in the Naval Reserves, he was mobilized to Saudi Arabia, for Operation Desert Storm. Snyder resides in Middletown with his wife Judy. He has two children, son Matthew and daughter Laura.
Mike Evangelista has been hired by Haller Enterprises as a Comfort Consultant, with a focus on residential HVAC sales in Berks County. Evangelista brings with him four years of sales experience, as well as video and television production experience. He resides in Hamburg with his wife Melissa and their three sons.
Haller Enterprises Recognized as Leading Contractor in HVAC Installations

YORK, Pa—Representatives from Haller Enterprises were presented with the award for 2010 Top Performing Contractor for HVAC Installation at a luncheon in their honor on Wednesday, May 4.
The recognition was awarded by FirstEnergy, the parent company of Met-Ed. Haller Sales representatives from both the York and Palmyra locations were present to accept the award. The award recognizes Haller as the top contractor for high efficiency HVAC installation in their energy efficiency program, in which more than 550 contractors participate.
"We take pride in this award," said John Michel, president. "It's a testament to our hard work and level of customer satisfaction that we were able to receive this honor."
Haller Enterprises services the Met-Ed territories of York, Adams, Berks, Dauphin, Cumberland and Lebanon counties, as well as territories serviced by other utility companies.

Thirty years ago, Rick Haller started out as a "one-man show" that provided electrical services in Lancaster County. "I was everything," he said. "I did the work, the marketing, the billing."
Today, Haller is still the CEO, but he oversees 285 employees and expected gross revenue of nearly $50 million for fiscal year 2011. The company celebrates its 30th anniversary in May, with four locations in Harrisburg, Lancaster, York and Lebanon. Haller started out by providing electrical installations for new construction but quickly expanded to include plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical and water conditioning, adding staff and learning new skills along the way.

Haller Enterprises announces two executive promotions.

Lancaster, PA, Lyndell Bair has been promoted to chief executive officer of Haller Enterprises, Inc. Bair joined Haller Enterprises in 1991. Most recently he served as president. His is a graduate of Millersville University.
John Michel has been promoted to president of Haller Enterprises, Inc. Michel joined Haller Enterprises in 2006 and most recently served as vice president, service & retrofit division. Prior to joining Haller Enterprises, Michel served as Pennsylvania general manager of Petroleum Heat & Power. He is a graduate of Penn State University.

Matt Caplinger became certified for Solar PV Installation and Design by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) in March 2010. Matt also obtained the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Photovoltaic (PV) Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge. Haller Enterprises is an approved solar PV installer with the PA Sunshine Solar Program. Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels convert sunlight into electricity and can be used to power the home or business and help offset increasing utility costs.

Lancaster, PA, Edward McFarlane has been promoted to Sales and Team Development Manager at Haller Enterprises, Inc. Mr. McFarlane began his Haller Enterprises career in 2006 as Special Project Manager and most recently held the position of Sales Manager. In his new role he will use his 10 years of industry experience to support the growth of Haller’s Commercial Service & Replacement area and the overall growth of Haller’s sales and service departments. Mr. McFarlane resides in Lititz with his wife and two children.

In his new role as Sales Manager, he will oversee the residential Comfort Consultants and focus on the growth of Haller’s Residential Heating & Cooling Replacement area. A graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Becker resides in East Petersburg with his wife and two children.

Pennsylvania state program offers homeowners a 10-year loan at 1 percent interest to finance half the cost of geothermal heating and cooling systems.
Federal tax rebates of 30 percent are also available, making this an ideal time to invest in this earth friendly renewable energy system.

Coleman Oster places 1st in Associated Builders and Contractors' National Craft Championships in Plumbing.

Coleman Oster placed first in plumbing in Associated Builders and
Contractors' (ABC) National Craft Championships held February 3-7, 2010
in San Diego, California. Mr. Oster qualified for the national
competition by placing first at the local level in September 2009. The
intense two day national competition consisted of a written exam on
trade knowledge and a practical performance test. Mr. Oster began
working for Haller Enterprises through the co-op program at Lancaster
County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) in 2006 and has been
employed at Haller Enterprises full-time in the Residential New
Construction Plumbing Division since 2007. He is enrolled in the ABC
Apprenticeship Program and will graduate in May 2010.
The Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation inducts Haller Enterprises' Blake Martin into the Hall of Fame 2009.

Blake Martin was inducted into the Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation's Hall of Fame. An alumnus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC), Master Plumber Blake Martin was recognized for his contributions as head of the LCCTC Plumbing Advisory Committee for ten years and many years of mentoring students through skills testing, mock interviewing and discussions on the profession. Mr. Martin has been an employee of Haller Enterprises for 17 years. Haller Enterprises typically hires several Lancaster County Career & Technology Center students each year and provides internships when possible. With locations in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York and Lebanon, Haller Enterprises, Inc. provides a full range of plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical, and water conditioning services for residential, commercial, new construction and remodeling projects throughout Central PA.

Haller Enterprises Opens New Showroom In York

Haller’s fourth location opened April 6th along Route 30 at 801 Loucks Road in York. Haller has been serving the York area for over 15 years, and the new location will increase efficiencies and convenience to the York community. The York location includes a showroom which is open Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. Other Haller locations include Lancaster, Mechanicsburg and Palmyra.
