A joint program of the U.S. Department of Energy and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, Energy Star® is helping homeowners save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. Visit their web site, www.energystar.gov, and you'll find new ways to make your own home more energy efficient.

A few other good sites to visit would be www.energyefficientlight.com and www.gelighting.com. Both sites provide great information on the green movement and offer ways to save money by becoming more energy efficient.
